Knowledge is power for Sages, built with the skills to counter Wizards. Instead of taking the might of the elements to their apex, Sages throw themselves into study of the elements to further understand their nuances, giving them an intimate understanding to either counter it, or bestow the elements to their allies. Despite their studious nature, they're surprisingly physical in combat when needed. The Scholar brings in support skills to make themselves self-sufficient in a fight as well as picking up a few more offensive spells in their studies. The Sorcerer ushers in the power of elemental spirit summons and brings in a load of offensive area skills for their creative usage, and the Elemental Master refines their knowledge of the elements to advent their spirits to High Elemental Spirits.
